Razzia (born Gérard Courbouleix–Dénériaz, Montparnasse, France, 1950) is a celebrated French graphic artist and one of the last poster artists working in the classic tradition of painted advertising art. In contrast to contemporary digital design, Razzia continues to conceive his posters from original paintings, preserving techniques rooted in the golden age of poster art. His work is distinguished by elegant Art Deco–inspired composition and timeless visual clarity.
